Twin-Tower PSA Oxygen Generator

GSE Tech factory China Twin-Tower PSA Oxygen Generator Utilizing an alternating operation configuration of dual adsorption towers and employing pressure swing adsorption air separation technology, this system directly uses plant-compressed air as feedstock to produce industrial-grade oxygen, making it suitable for continuous oxygen applications such as wastewater aeration, glass melting furnaces, metallurgical combustion processes, ozone generation, and chemical oxidation processes.

Equipment: Basic Workflow Compressed air first enters the pre-treatment unit, where multi-stage filtration removes dust, moisture, and lubricant impurities; the purified air is then fed into the adsorption column. The dual-tower pressure swing adsorption oxygen generator contains lithium-based molecular sieves for oxygen production, which exhibit superior nitrogen adsorption capacity. Under pressurized conditions, nitrogen is retained while oxygen is released and collected; when the molecular sieve becomes saturated, pressure is released from the corresponding column to discharge nitrogen, allowing the sieve to regain its adsorption capability. Two adsorption columns are switched between operating modes via an electronic control system: one column produces oxygen while the other undergoes regeneration, cycling continuously to deliver stable-concentration oxygen. The entire process operates at ambient temperature without requiring additional heating or cooling equipment.


Standard Operational Procedures  

1. Position verification: Ensure the fuselage is free from deformation, the carbon steel cylinder's anti-rust coating remains intact, pipeline gaskets are complete, and control lines are properly secured.

2. Power-on self-test: Initiate the electrical control system for automatic detection of cylinder airtightness and execution of scheduled procedures.

3. Dual-tower cyclic oxygen generation: The system automatically switches between adsorption and regeneration modes of the two towers, producing qualified oxygen within approximately 3 minutes.

4. Stable gas supply: Standard-compliant oxygen is delivered to all consumption points, with the system automatically adjusting load based on usage demand for energy-efficient operation.

5. Single-column isolation maintenance: During servicing, isolate one cylinder with a single button press while maintaining continuous gas supply to the remaining cylinders; restore synchronized operation of both towers after completion.
