Traditional nitrogen generation often requires separate compressors, receivers, dryers, and membrane banks, each sourced from different suppliers. GASET integrated membrane designs bring all critical components into a factory-tested package. The benefits are immediate: reduced installation time, fewer interconnecting risks, and a single point of accountability for performance. From the air inlet to the nitrogen outlet, every subsystem is matched to the membrane’s characteristics. This ensures optimal pressure dew point, stable filtration, and low oil carryover, directly translating to longer membrane service intervals and more predictable nitrogen purity.
At the core of every GASET membrane integrated nitrogen generator lies a bundle of hollow-fiber polymer membranes. Compressed air, cleaned and dried to ISO 8573-1 Class 1 moisture and oil standards, enters the bore side of the fibers. Oxygen, water vapor, and trace CO₂ permeate rapidly through the membrane wall and are vented as an oxygen-enriched waste stream. Nitrogen, with its slower permeation rate, remains inside the fiber and collects as product gas. The entire sequence is controlled by a programmable logic system that adjusts backpressure and flow valves, allowing operators to set the desired purity through a touchscreen interface. Because the process requires no chemical reaction, no heat, and no moving parts beyond the compressor, it is inherently safe and static, providing a continuous nitrogen stream.
