Two vessels alternate between adsorption and regeneration phases, ensuring a continuous nitrogen stream. Membrane-based integrated nitrogen generators, on the other hand, force compressed air through hollow polymer fibers that allow fast permeation of oxygen and water vapor while slower nitrogen molecules are collected at the outlet.
